About the Chapter

We are a group of volunteer advocates working on #insulin4all action in the MENA Region to raise awareness about the insulin price crisis and improve the lives of people with diabetes in our country.

We are supported by T1International, a UK-registered Charity that advocates for and with everyone with type 1 diabetes around the world.

Mohammed Seyam

Mohammed Seyam is the MENA #insulin4all Chapter Leader. He has been living with type 1 diabetes since age 11. Diabetes was, still is, and will always be his top priority. Living with diabetes in the Arabic communities can be stressful, tough, and full of discrimination. People with diabetes usually fail to find support, guidance, and even access to their basic health rights. He believes that creating a MENA region Chapter of T1International can help support and advocate for people living with diabetes in the region using different methods, including making sure the message will be loud, heard, and create a change.
