Out-of-pocket costs: The amount you pay from your own funds, including any taxes, fees, or other charges. We will ask you to select the currency that you primarily use and provide costs in this currency. If your currency is not listed, you should select 'Your Currency,' and write in the currency you primarily use.

Type 1 diabetes: A condition that causes the level of glucose (sugar) in the blood to become too high. It happens when the body can't produce enough of a hormone called insulin, which controls blood glucose. A person with type 1 diabetes needs daily injections of insulin to keep blood glucose levels under control.

Diabetes supplies: This includes syringes and other insulin infusion methods (like insulin pump), glucose monitor, glucose test strips, ketone strips, glucagon injection, continuous glucose monitoring, etc.

Household: Consists of one or more people who live in the same dwelling and share meals.
