Out of pocket costs: The amount you pay from your own funds, including any taxes, fees, or other charges. We will ask for these costs in US dollars. Please convert costs from your local currency to USD.

Type 1 diabetes: A condition that causes the level of glucose (sugar) in the blood to become too high. It happens when the body can't produce enough of a hormone called insulin, which controls blood glucose. A person with type 1 diabetes needs daily injections of insulin to keep blood glucose levels under control.

Diabetes supplies: This includes syringes and other insulin infusion methods (like insulin pump), glucose monitor, glucose test strips, ketone strips, glucagon injection, continuous glucose monitoring, alcohol swabs, etc.

Household: Consists of one or more people who live in the same dwelling and share meals.
