T1International has grown as a global movement demanding more: political change and disruption to the status quo to ensure accessible and affordable insulin and equitable care, and an end to a system that treats health as a commodity and our bodies as broken. When systems fail and challenges grow, grassroots leaders rise, turning experience and expertise into bold, urgent action. Our community is the heart of our movement and the force that drives change.
Our new strategic plan focuses on three bold goals: Access, Affordability, and Care. We will achieve them through interconnected strategies: informing the public about the diabetes crisis, reforming laws and policies, confronting the root causes of inequity, and transforming systems so everyone can access the care, medicines, and supplies they need. We will act together, team up, build stronger communities, and develop leaders ready to shape the future. To make it possible, we will invest in grassroots strategy development, people, operations and infrastructure, and financial sustainability.
