On November 14th, 2025, World Diabetes Day, #insulin4all advocates across the globe came together to make a demand: that they be able to access and afford their life-sustaining medications. Recent data showed that 1 in 3 people around the world rationed their insulin due to cost in 2024. At T1International, we know that #insulin4all is a reasonable and dignified demand– and yet, we are still too far from achieving a reality where everyone, no matter where they live, has access to the medicine and supplies they need to survive and flourish. As I listened to the amazing sessions at this year's Summit, the rage from 2016 was still there, and rightly so, but there was also so much love, inclusivity and power. Whether you like the term 'patients' or not - we debated it at the Summit - this event was full of patients taking back their power. I was proud to be part of it and continue to be proud that T1International is making such a huge global impact as a small, pharma-free charity. Read more
