Michigan #insulin4all Chapter

Campaigns:
Michigan #insulin4all chapter logo

T1International’s Michigan #insulin4all Chapter brings together people living with diabetes, caregivers, and advocates working to make insulin more affordable and accessible.

The chapter is building a movement for a healthcare system that puts people before profits. Through grassroots organizing, education, and advocacy, Michigan #insulin4all is working to ensure that the voices of people affected by high insulin costs are heard and that communities have a role in shaping solutions.

Michigan advocates are helping advance conversations around Public Pharma and publicly accountable approaches to insulin production. By supporting new models that prioritize patients over corporate interests, the chapter is working toward a future where insulin is available to everyone who needs it.

What We’re Working On

Michigan #insulin4all is focused on building support for solutions that address the root causes of insulin affordability challenges. The chapter advocates for policies that increase transparency, accountability, and access while connecting local organizing to the larger national movement for Public Pharma.

Recent highlights include:

  • Raising awareness about Public Pharma as a potential solution to insulin affordability challenges.
  • Engaging community members in conversations about the future of insulin access.
  • Participating in #insulin4all actions and advocacy campaigns.
  • Bringing Michigan voices into T1International’s global movement for affordable insulin.
