T1International’s Vermont #insulin4all Chapter brings together people living with diabetes, caregivers, and advocates working to make insulin more affordable and accessible in Vermont.
As one of T1International’s earliest chapters, Vermont #insulin4all has played an important role in building patient-led advocacy and showing what communities can accomplish when people directly impacted by healthcare challenges organize for change.
The chapter works to ensure that people with diabetes have a voice in decisions that affect their lives and continues to advocate for practical solutions that make insulin more affordable.
What We’re Working On
Vermont #insulin4all focuses on state-level solutions that address the affordability challenges faced by people with diabetes.
Recent highlights include supporting efforts around Vermont’s insulin affordability programs, including advocacy related to the state’s insulin discount card program. The chapter continues to work to ensure that people who need insulin can access it at a price they can afford.
